Habitual actions, rituals, relationships. We consider them as essential parts of our individual existence. To unexpectedly fall out of this everyday structure, begin to lose control, is a breaking point, a breach, pinned to the “here and now”. It makes us aware that we exist. Aware of our own fragility. The artist exposes this ruptured condition, in a moment of vulnerability, experiencing a creative breakthrough.
